Värmland is a forested region in western Sweden, between Lake Vänern and the Norwegian border. It has thousands of lakes, very few people and long, light evenings in summer.

Our lodge sits on its own lake, a short walk through pine forest from the nearest road. There is a wood-fired sauna on the jetty, canoes for guests and almost no phone signal by the water.

Space, silence and the Swedish right to roam make Värmland our home for meditation and rest weeks from late spring to early autumn.
