Overview

A balanced yoga week for people who practise now and then and want to come home feeling stronger and rested. Two classes a day, guided coastal walks and free afternoons.

Each day starts with a 90-minute vinyasa class in the covered shala, followed by a long breakfast. Afternoons are yours: walk the Fishermen's Trail with the group, go to the beach or read in the courtyard garden.

Before dinner, Inês teaches a slower yin or restorative class. One afternoon is set aside for a mobility workshop on hips and shoulders — useful if you sit at a desk all week.

Group size is capped at 14 so the teacher can give everyone individual attention.

Questions about this retreat

I am new to yoga. Is this suitable?

Yes, if you are comfortable moving for 90 minutes. Inês teaches options for every level and you can rest whenever you like.

Can I book a place with a friend or partner?

Yes. Choose a shared room and add a second guest during booking, or book separately and add your friend's name in the special requests field so we can room you together.

What happens if I need to cancel?

Deposits are non-refundable but can be moved to another retreat once if you cancel more than 60 days before arrival. See the full booking policy for later cancellations.

Can I swim in the sea?

Yes, but the Atlantic here has strong currents. Only swim at lifeguarded beaches in season, and ask the team which beaches are calm that day.

Is there a pharmacy or shop nearby?

Vila Nova de Milfontes, 15 minutes by car, has pharmacies, supermarkets and an ATM. The team runs a shop trip on free afternoons.
